An exasperated Susanna Reid<\/a> told viewers: “Katie and her husband Lee were booked to appear and up until yesterday that was still the case.” While Lee posted to social media today to say he was ‘attending to business’ in Dubai where he lives.<\/p>\n Susanna stold viewers the GMB<\/a> team contacted the Foreign Office to see if Lee had any travel ban.’ The Foreign Office responded: “We supported a British man who was detained in the UAE.”<\/p>\n Ed then asked Katie directly if Lee had been arrested. She hit back: “No, I feel like they just said it to me in there [backstage] so I just said to Lee apparently a British man has been detained, can you confirm its not you?” and he’s done a voice note back and said it’s not him and sent laughing emojis,” she protested.<\/p>\n Katie appeared on GMB without her new husband(Image: ITV)<\/p>\n Ssuanna then asked Katie if Lee was ‘unreliable’. “Not to me,” insisted the former glamour model.<\/p>\n She told hosts Susanna and Ed to “interrogate” her to clear things up. Susanna then said: “What I love about you Katie is that you’re very open, but I just wonder if he’s telling you everything.”<\/p>\n Katie then added: “I know no one believes me, your face says it all, [Susanna]. I can’t keep going to Dubai because I’ve got work and my kids here. He pays for it anyway but I can’t keep going to Dubai so he’s shifting over here. I said ‘I keep flying to you, you’ve got to come to England now.”<\/p>\n When the Foreign Office was mentioned again, Susanna asked Katie if their information “raised a concern” for her. She said: “No you’ve asked the question to them – they haven’t come to you. He wouldn’t have his phone, he wouldn’t be at the airport, so it’s definitely not Lee. I’ve just had him on FaceTime at the airport; it’s definitely not Lee. He does a lot of stuff. I know what he does, so I believe it.”<\/p>\n There is ongoing speculation that Lee is unable to leave the United Arab Emirates city after allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend Dina Taji\u2019s signature to secure a \u00a3200,000 loan \u2013 something he\u2019s strongly denied.<\/p>\n Katie had previously hinted her partner couldn’t fly last month<\/a>. Her sister Sophie had asked her sister about the apparent travel ban on their podcast, to which Katie said: “Do you know what? Everyone has said to me you can get a travel ban over anything in Dubai.<\/p>\n Katie and Lee married earlier this year just days after meeting, sparking fears with her family and fans.<\/p>\n Like this story?
