The universe of &#8216;Money Heist&#8217; expands.&#8221;With the official handle sharing the post, with the clip of Alvaro Morte&#8217;s return as Professor, accompanied by a host of people in red jumpsuits and Salvador Dal\u00ed masks, a new version of the series&#8217; theme track Bella Ciao plays in the background.The streamer previously hinted that the franchise is entering a much larger expansion phase rather than simply announcing a direct continuation of the original show. In a statement accompanying the teaser, Netflix described the series as a story that \u201cnever stopped growing, evolving and surprising\u201d audiences, adding that \u201cthe revolution never ends.\u201dWhile the platform stopped short of officially confirming if fans can expect a &#8216;Money Heist Season 6&#8217;, the teaser has sparked speculation that a show involving an original character could be in development.Spanish media reports have also fuelled speculation about the franchise&#8217;s future direction. According to reports by El Pa\u00eds, Vancouver Media, the production company founded by &#8216;Money Heist&#8217; creator \u00c1lex Pina, is reportedly developing a four-episode mini-series centred on Colonel Tamayo, played by Fernando Cayo. If confirmed, the project would mark another major character-focused spin-off.Since its debut, Money Heist has evolved from a Spanish crime drama into one of Netflix\u2019s biggest global streaming phenomena.
