Or rather, a multiverse of problems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Big Bang Theory spinoff finds Stuart (Kevin Sussman) breaking the space-time continuum and trying to put it back together \u2014 not especially successfully. HBO Max has also announced a July 23 premiere date for the show, the third spinoff of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/big-bang-theory\/\" id=\"auto-tag_big-bang-theory_1\" data-tag=\"big-bang-theory\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Big Bang Theory<\/a> after Young Sheldon and Georgie &amp; Mandy\u2019s First Marriage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe single-camera series will showcase wormholes, multiple Stuarts, giant bugs and an all-around rough go for the title character. Watch it below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe description for Stuart Fails to Save the Universe reads, \u201cComic\u00a0book store\u00a0owner Stuart Bloom is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon. Stuart is aided in this quest by his girlfriend Denise (Lauren Lapkus), geologist friend Bert (Brian Posehn), and quantum physicist\/all-around pain in the ass Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). Along the way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters\u00a0we\u2019ve\u00a0come to know and love from The Big Bang Theory. As the title implies, things\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0go well.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cThe fun is watching him fail every week,\u201d Posehn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/stuart-fails-to-save-the-universe-big-bang-theory-images-1236577626\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told attendees<\/a> at the CCXP Mexico City convention in April. Sussman added that viewers will get to learn more about Stuart\u2019s romance with Lapkus\u2019 Denise: \u201cWhen\u00a0The Big Bang Theory\u00a0ended, our relationship was just budding, and now you can see where it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tBig Bang Theory co-creators Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady created the series with Zak Penn; all three are writers and executive producers. Lorre\u2019s eponymous production company produces in association with Warner Bros.
