Perrie Edward<\/a>s wowed in a racy black bralette as she released her debut solo album – on the same day her ex bandmate Jesy Nelson<\/a> announced her engagement.<\/p>\n

The former Little Mix<\/a> star released her self-titled album Perrie on Friday and the new photos for her lead track Rocket Scientist have also been shared online.<\/p>\n

Perrie, 32, showcased her growing bump for the stylish shoot as she opted for an oversized blazer with padded shoulders.<\/p>\n

The mum-of-one wore a glittery bra underneath and\u00a0added a pair of wide-leg leather trousers and heels to top off her superstar look.<\/p>\n

Last month, Perrie revealed her album would drop on September 26, after a year of working on it.<\/p>\n

Along with announcing the name of the album, she wrote: ‘I can\u2019t believe this day has arrived! It feels like a dream. My debut album ‘Perrie’ will be all yours on the 26th September!’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Perrie, 32, looked outstanding for the grungy shoot, wearing a very oversized blazer with padded shoulders<\/p>\n

However the announcement has coincided with the same day her former bandmate Jesy decided to announce\u00a0her engagement to her boyfriend Zion Foster, four months after the pair welcomed twins.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Zion proposed to Jesy during a romantic sunset trip to the beach with the singer sharing a close up shot of the sparkling diamond to Instagram on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘Just got engaged to my best friend’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Perrie appeared on This Morning to discuss her new music, speaking about how she caught up with pal Leigh-Anne Pinnock during her holiday to Turkey.<\/p>\n

The star shared how she had been ‘pacing around the kitchen’ ahead of the album launch the night before, and that it felt ‘surreal’.<\/p>\n

She then talked about seeing Leigh-Anne during a holiday, adding: ‘I saw Leigh-Anne in Turkey and we put the world to right.<\/p>\n

‘We had a good old catch up, both our partners were playing for Turkish football clubs at the time. She was like, “I’m coming over to the apartment I haven’t seen you for ages” and we were sat there for hours just chat, chat, chatting.’<\/p>\n

Perrie concluded: ‘I needed it so much. Jade [Thirlwall] and Leigh-Anne get it to a different degree. We still have that connection that will never go.’<\/p>\n

Jesy and Zion began dating in January 2022 and have endured many breakups and reunions since.<\/p>\n

The couple became parents in May when they welcomed twins Ocean Jade and Story Monroe.<\/p>\n

Ocean Jade and Story Monroe were born at just 31 weeks old, after Jesy was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) – a rare condition that can put one or both babies at risk.<\/p>\n

Before being released from hospital the twins had been receiving treatment in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).<\/p>\n
