Two men have lost their lives in a tragic collision outside Donegal Town this Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The two-vehicle collision occurred at Clar on the main Donegal-Ballybofey road\u00a0shortly after 2pm.<\/p>\n

Two men, one in his 20s and one in his 30s, died at the scene.<\/p>\n

Their bodies have been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital, where post-mortem examinations will be carried out.<\/p>\n

Two other people in the same vehicle, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 20s, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n

Two occupants of the second vehicle, a man and a woman in their 40s, are also being treated at Letterkenny University Hospital for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n

The road remains closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are due to undergo a technical examination of the scene.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.<\/p>\n

Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area of the N15 between 1:30pm and 2:30pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information is asked to contact Donegal Town Garda Station on 074 974 0190, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.<\/p>\n

Investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n
