He did come close to scoring with a header at the far post in the first half.

Moved into the right of the back three after the interval.

Jayson Molumby – 8

Jayson Molumby produced a typically energetic display in the middle third, allowing very little time on the ball to the Grenada midfielders. He also produced a couple of impressive driving runs forward.

Continued to impress in the second half and produced an excellent overall display.

Conor Coventry – 7

Conor Coventry showed a nice range of passing in the opening half, also coming close to scoring with an excellent shot from the edge of the box.

Was one of Ireland’s best players before coming off at the interval.

Tayo Adaramola – 5

Making his Ireland debut, Adaramola was a willing runner down the left flank. He would then rattle the bar with an acrobatic effort moments later.

Was a bit quieter in the second half after moving to wingback, but still produced an impressive display.

Jack Moylan – 9

The other debutant in the starting XI, Jack Moylan came close to opening the scoring with an excellent long range effort in the opening few minutes. He did so once again just before the interval, but had an otherwise quiet opening 45 minutes.

He was much improved in the second half, with the Lincoln City man showing a calm head to score Ireland’s third goal on the hour mark. He added a second with ten minutes to go, before grabbing his third a few moments later.

A dream international debut.

Adam Idah – 7

Adam Idah made some threatening runs in behind during the opening half, but his miss on a near open Grenada goal on the half hour mark was an absolute shocker. He did draw a decent save from the goalkeeper with an attempt from outside the area a few minutes later.

Idah got more joy in the second half, producing the assist for Cannon’s second.

Substitutes

Andy Moran – 8

Moran looked impressive in possession when coming on, getting on a lot of ball in a deeper central position. He would produce an excellent finish to score his second ten minutes later.

Missed a couple of opportunities to get his hat-trick, including a brilliant free-kick that struck the post. A superb impact after his introduction.

Millencic Alli – 6

Another debutant, Alli looked lively in the final third after coming on.

Aidomo Emakhu – 6

Making his first appearance for Ireland, Emakhu put in a decent shift after being introduced at right wingback.

Rory Finneran – 6

The seventh youngest player to play for Ireland at senior level, the 18-year old looked tidy on the ball during the 20 minutes or so he was on the pitch.

Josh Keeley – 6

Came on in goal for the final 20 minutes after making his debut and had little to do.

SEE ALSO: Martin O’Neill Delivered Extraordinary Address To Celtic Fans After Crazy Title Decider

Ireland 5-0 Grenada After an underwhelming first half, an excellent display from Ireland in the second period was…

[3
42,60,43,40,38,41,39
post-452837","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-headlines","tag-headlines","tag-ireland","tag-news","tag-top-news","tag-top-stories","tag-topnews","tag-topstories
["GET
