During an appearance on Just Too Filmy, Saif was reminded that almost every film release of his ends up generating at least one meme-worthy clip online. Reacting to it, the actor admitted that he noticed the trend himself. \u201cYeah, quite a lot,\u201d he said when told about his frequent meme moments. When asked whether the gesture was intentionally planned for publicity, Saif immediately denied it and laughed off the speculation. \u201cNo, of course not. I don\u2019t know. Yeah, this is what, they asked me to explain it later,\u201d he shared. \u201cI Said Good Luck To The Movie\u201dExplaining the now-viral gesture, Saif said he was not treating the poster as a representation of himself alone, but rather as a symbol of the entire film and the team behind it. \u201cI said good luck to the movie. And I saw this big poster and I was like, good luck to us all,\u201d he explained. The actor added that the action happened instinctively in the moment. \u201cI didn\u2019t see it as me. I saw it as a kind of team effort and a representation of the whole idea,\u201d Saif said.Saif also hilariously recreated the exact move while talking about it and admitted that the whole thing looked rather bizarre once it went viral online. \u201cIt\u2019s like (imitates touching the poster) and this is the main gesture (pumps fist). And there\u2019s a little skip also, it\u2019s absolutely mad,\u201d he joked. His light-hearted reaction has only added to the internet\u2019s amusement, with fans continuing to share memes and clips from the event.<\/p>\n
