The Cork hurlers have suffered another injury blow with the news that Robbie O\u2019Flynn has been sidelined with a hamstring problem, Echo live have reported.<\/p>\n
The Erin\u2019s Own man was forced off in training last week and is set to be out for a three-week period.<\/p>\n
That would make him unavailable for Sunday\u2019s last Munster SHC round-robin fixture, against Clare at SuperValu P\u00e1irc U\u00ed Chaoimh, and he would also almost certainly miss the final on Sunday, June 7 if Cork were to get there.<\/p>\n
While O\u2019Flynn was not used in provincial championship opener against Tipperary, he was a late sub in the win over Limerick a week later and was the first attacker brought off the bench in the victory away to Waterford last Saturday week.<\/p>\n
The 28-year-old has struggled with hamstring issues over the past few years. He sustained an injury while scoring a goal against Tipperary in 2023, kept him out for the rest of Cork\u2019s truncated championship campaign as they failed to get out of Munster; then he had another setback in February of the following year but he did recover to feature as a sub throughout the championship campaign, up to and including the All-Ireland final loss to Clare.<\/p>\n
In 2025, O\u2019Flynn appeared off the bench in the Munster final win over Limerick, winning a third provincial medal.<\/p>\n
