Harry Styles<\/a>\u2018 team have responded to fan complaints about obstructed views on his current \u2018Together, Together\u2019 tour.<\/p>\n

Having previewed the global trek with a special one-off concert in Manchester back in March<\/a>, Saturday night (May 16) saw the pop star kick off his global residency in Amsterdam\u2019s Johan Cruijff Arena, treating fans to a series of hits from his latest album, \u2018Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So far the former\u00a0One Direction<\/a>\u00a0has played two nights at the arena. But fans who paid for special \u201cVIP\u201d floor tickets have complained that they have been met with obstructed views due to 10-foot-tall walkways circling the stadium\u2019s floor.<\/p>\n

\u201cDidn\u2019t pay \u20ac200 to miss half the concert because of a bridge:(,\u201d wrote one fan.<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cHow high harry\u2019s stage is omfg everyone with a pit ticket has an obstructed view.,\u201d while another said: \u201cVIP PAID \u00a3350 FOR THS VIEW,\u201d alongside footage of their restricted view.<\/p>\n

Now, Styles\u2019 team have responded and said they are \u201creviewing\u201d the complaints so they can \u201cadjust\u201d the catwalks accordingly.<\/p>\n

A statement via Variety <\/a>added: \u201cThe floor concept was designed to give fans freedom of movement and the ability to experience the show from different positions, rather than being confined to one fixed viewing angle.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat open, free-flowing floor experience has always been an essential part of Harry\u2019s live shows. A small area of the staging in specific floor positions appears to have had a restricted sightline. Those areas are being reviewed carefully and adjusted where possible in compliance with all safety restrictions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tour representatives are also said to have encouraged fans to take advantage of the space on the floor and move into a better position if they find their view obscured, rather than remaining in one spot or staying close to the barricades next to the walkways.<\/p>\n

Reviewing the opening night at Amsterdam\u2019s Johan Cruijff Arena, NME awarded the show five stars<\/a> and said it was a \u201chopeful celebration of community and connection\u201d.<\/p>\n

It added: \u201c\u2018As It Was\u2019 closes things out for good and the pop star takes one last chance to indulge in the high, putting his marathon training to good use as he dashes around the perimeter of the stage over and over again. Hope is a weighty word, but for the two hours he\u2019s on stage tonight, it does feel easier to embrace optimism.\u201d<\/p>\n

Styles will continue his tour in Amsterdam on Friday (May 22) before he hits the UK for a series of dates at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium from June 12. When tickets went live for Styles\u2019 upcoming UK dates,\u00a0there were queues of up to 250,000 people for each of the shows<\/a>, and it was later revealed that\u00a0he had broken several records at both Wembley and Madison Square Garden thanks to huge demand<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Wembley gigs will see the \u2018As It Was\u2019 singer\u00a0donate \u00a31 from every ticket sold to LIVE\u2019s levy<\/a>, helping to protect UK grassroots music venues and support emerging talent.<\/p>\n

His recent album \u2018Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally\u2019, scored\u00a0four stars in\u00a0<\/a>NME<\/a>,\u00a0which described it as \u201can album that you\u2019ll really want to spend a lot of time with, letting all its layers envelope you\u201d. It added: \u201cIt\u2019s the most exploratory album of his career so far, trying out new things and steering his ship in new directions.\u201d<\/p>\n
