Bethenny Frankel<\/a> found herself in hot water this week after a small business owner accused her of failing to send a thank you message for a $4,000 birthday cake. The story comes on the heels of another small business owner, Alexia \u201cLexi\u201d Ioannou, accusing Bethenny of<\/a> intentionally avoiding promoting her business after she gifted the Real Housewives of New York<\/a> star a free pair of shoes.<\/p>\n

A recent DM was also exposed<\/p>\n

On May 19, the owner of SugarHi Boca, a bakery in Boca Raton, Florida, posted a TikTok about Bethenny<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have debated telling this story for so long. I have a story about Bethenny Frankel,\u201d\u00a0the video began. \u201cLast year, after we opened SugarHi in Boca. Bethenny\u2019s assistant reached out asking us to make a huge custom cake for her birthday party in Miami.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe spent, give or take, $4,000, including the cost of the cake. And we drove four hours round trip to deliver it,\u201d she explained. \u201cThe next day, Bethenny posted the cake everywhere \u2014 stories, reels, carousels, posts. Daily Mail picked it up. Food God posted it. She tagged the venue, photographer, the glam team, the videographer, everybody except us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The owner did note that Bethenny\u2019s team said there was \u201cno guarantee\u201d that she would post the cake on her socials.<\/p>\n

\u201cEventually, we got tagged in like slide 5 of a carousel after tons of people were asking where the cake was from,\u201d the owner added. \u201cAnd honestly, we got no business from it, no followers. But the part that bothered me the most wasn\u2019t even losing the money. It was the lack of acknowledgement, not even a thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

She ended the video by saying that she received another DM from Bethenny two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlot twist \u2014 two weeks ago, [Bethenny] DMs me again asking for a gift for billionaire friends who had a granddaughter,\u201d she said. \u201cThis time, instead of offering delivery, I said, \u2018When do you want to pick it up?\u2019 Oh, surprise, she ghosted me, which tells you everything you need to know.\u201d<\/p>\n
