Spencer Matthews has revealed that he and his pregnant wife Vogue Williams know the gender of their fourth child – but are keeping it a secret until it is born.<\/p>\n
The reality TV stars, who are already parents to sons Theodore and Otto and daughter Gigi, announced they were expecting another baby last month.<\/p>\n
Matthews, who was speaking ahead of his latest endurance event, which will see him run all six possible routes up Mount Snowdon in North Wales in a 24-hour period, said the three children “can\u2019t wait for the baby to come”.<\/p>\n

Asked whether he and Williams know the baby\u2019s gender, Matthews told the Press Association: “We know, but we\u2019re keeping it a surprise.”<\/p>\n
Describing his three children, he said: “They\u2019re like a little pack of wolves together. You know, they look after each other, they play with each other.”<\/p>\n
He said Williams is doing “very well”, adding: “She is a very strong, awesome woman. She\u2019s carrying it beautifully and looks fantastic.”<\/p>\n
Williams has previously spoken of experiencing pregnancy loss, including once last year.<\/p>\n
Matthews added: “Although we tried very hard to have this fourth kid, it does feel like we\u2019ve been here before a few times.<\/p>\n
“Some of the surprises and twists and turns of pregnancy are probably less surprising to us at this stage.<\/p>\n
“I think Gigi in particular is going to absolutely adore it. Her favourite toys are all babies.”<\/p>\n
Matthews\u2019 challenge involves him having to repeatedly ascend and descend the mountain, also known as Yr Wyddfa, over a non-stop 24-hour period.<\/p>\n
The 92km route will see him climb the equivalent height of Tanzania\u2019s Mount Kilimanjaro and cover more than two marathons across mountainous terrain.<\/p>\n
He said he will have to push through exhaustion and sleep deprivation along with harsh and remote conditions.<\/p>\n
He told PA: “There are six possible ways to get up Snowdon. We\u2019re going to try and run all six in a 24-hour period. So it\u2019s going to be quite the day out.”<\/p>\n
Asked what the appeal was, he said: “My grandmother was Welsh for a start, and I haven\u2019t spent too much time in Wales, but I have been up Snowdon once before and I had an amazing time.<\/p>\n
“I\u2019m just drawn to challenges generally, to be honest, but also haven\u2019t done too much with height – with mountain terrain.<\/p>\n
“A lot of what I do is flat. So I really wanted to test myself.”<\/p>\n
He said training to run on mountainous terrain while living in London was “difficult”, but he has had experience of running through the night before.<\/p>\n
“I have to say, it\u2019s pretty grim,” he added.<\/p>\n
“Your body\u2019s going to break down. You\u2019re going to get freezing cold. It\u2019s going to be a very difficult thing to manage internal body temperature, especially when you get really depleted and tired.”<\/p>\n
Matthews has taken on a number of endurance challenges for charity in recent years, including setting a world record by running 30 marathons in 30 days across the Jordanian desert in 2024.<\/p>\n
He also completed seven triathlons on seven continents in 21 days in 2025.<\/p>\n
