\n\tView TV Studios<\/a>, the production and distribution company behind View TV ONE, has closed a deal to acquire U.S. rights to \u201cGray,\u201d AGC<\/a> Television\u2019s espionage thriller, starring Patricia Clarkson<\/a>, Rupert Everett and Lydia West.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe eight-part series will premiere on View TV ONE in the 9 p.m. weekly slot beginning Saturday May 23, with each episode available the next day on demand.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGray\u201d is the story of CIA spy Cornelia Gray (Clarkson) who comes in from the cold after 20 years in hiding, dodging the government agents who suspected her of being a traitor. She returns to her old life just as it is discovered that there is a new mole within her old spy network.<\/p>\n

\n\tClarkson, \u202fwhose credits include \u201cSharp Objects,\u201d \u201cHouse of Cards,\u201d \u201cSix Feet Under,\u201d \u201cPieces of April\u201d and \u201cEasy A,\u201d is a Golden Globe and three-time Emmy Award winner and Oscar nominee; Everett is a BAFTA, Golden Globe and Olivier Award nominee, with credits that include \u201cRivals,\u201d \u201cMy Best Friend\u2019s Wedding,\u201d \u201cAn Ideal Husband\u201d and \u201cThe Happy Prince.\u201d West, a BAFTA TV Award nominee, has appeared in \u201cBig Mood,\u201d \u201cHe Had It Coming\u201d and \u201cIt\u2019s a Sin.\u201d\u202f<\/p>\n

\n\tRounding out the key cast are Wendy Crewson, Shawn Doyle, Tim Rozon, Jamaal Grant and Benjamin Sutherland.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGray\u201d is directed by Ruba Nadda and written by John J. McLaughlin, based on an idea from best-selling author David Baldacci.\u202fThe series is executive produced by Ruba Nadda, Baldacci, Marc Shmuger, Clarkson, John J.
