{"id":461275,"date":"2026-05-22T05:48:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T05:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/461275\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T05:48:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T05:48:08","slug":"brad-pitt-angered-quentin-tarantino-while-filming-once-upon-a-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/461275\/","title":{"rendered":"Brad Pitt Angered Quentin Tarantino While Filming &#8216;Once Upon a Time&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAlthough <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/quentin-tarantino\/\" id=\"auto-tag_quentin-tarantino\" data-tag=\"quentin-tarantino\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Quentin Tarantino<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/brad-pitt\/\" id=\"auto-tag_brad-pitt\" data-tag=\"brad-pitt\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brad Pitt<\/a> are close collaborators, they allegedly had one moment where they disagreed while filming 2019\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-2\" data-tag=\"once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Once Upon a Time\u2026 in Hollywood<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe anecdote comes via co-star Bruce Dern, who spoke with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/bruce-dern-recalls-quentin-tarantino-once-scolding-brad-pitt-on-set-exclusive-11980067\" target=\"_blank\">People<\/a> while celebrating a new documentary about him debuting at Cannes Film Festival named \u201cDernsie.\u201d A \u201cDernsie\u201d is the name given to little lines or moments Dern has improvised in order to enhance his onscreen performances. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOne of these came up while Dern was shooting a scene with Pitt for \u201cHollywood,\u201d and he described what happened when he improvised.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cWhen Brad Pitt wakes me up in \u2018Once Upon a Time\u2026 in Hollywood,\u2019 I\u2019m in the bed and I get up and I\u2019m a little groggy and stuff and I just say, \u2018I\u2019m not really sure what\u2019s going on,&#8217;\u201d Dern said. \u201cI\u2019m looking at him. [Pitt] cut the camera. He cut the camera. The look on Quentin\u2019s face \u2014 I mean, he was insanely grave \u2014 and he said, \u2018Brad, what did you just do?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cHe said, \u2018Well, I cut the camera.\u2019 He said, \u2018Never again in your life will you ever cut a camera or you\u2019ll be dead in this business. That\u2019s my domain.
