Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has reportedly been arrested in Dubai after going missing for over a week, according to his father<\/p>\n

The father of Lee Andrews has claimed his son is currently under arrest in Dubai, after leaving wife Katie Price<\/a> devastated following his mysterious disappearance.<\/p>\n

Self-professed millionaire Lee has been missing for over a week after pulling out of a Good Morning Britain appearance alongside Katie at the last minute, having failed to fly to the UK.<\/p>\n

Speaking today, Lee’s father Pete, who has travelled to Dubai to be by his son’s side, has revealed that Lee has been detained by UAE authorities.<\/p>\n

The businessman said: “Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge. I’m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today.<\/p>\n

“He is not at my house,” he told the Daily Mail. Lee had been residing with his father Pete prior to becoming romantically involved with mum-of-five Katie earlier this year, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dubai Police chief Brigadier Khalid Khalifa al Avadhi told the Mail: “There are many cases against him.”<\/p>\n

The Mirror has contacted representatives for comment.<\/p>\n

It has now been over a week since Lee Andrews vanished without trace while allegedly making his way to the UK<\/p>\n

Following their whirlwind marriage, Katie was left utterly heartbroken after Lee inexplicably cut off all contact with her earlier this month.<\/p>\n

After several days of silence, Katie told fans she had received a FaceTime call from Lee, during which he claimed his hands had been ‘cable-tied’ and he’d been bundled into the back of a van.<\/p>\n

The mystery took a fresh twist on Thursday night when Lee’s Instagram account began following a woman called Mari Sol, who has approximately 800 followers and describes herself as a “biker babe” and a “navy veteran”. Mari is the sole person Lee follows on the platform besides Katie.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Katie shared what she claimed were the last text messages she’d received from Andrews’ phone. One message read: “Been arrested, I’ll be in touch I’m ok xx,”.<\/p>\n

It emerged on Monday that Andrews’ family had lodged a missing persons report at the British Embassy in Dubai. Meanwhile, Katie stated she was stepping away from the mystery any further ‘for the sake of her own sanity.’<\/p>\n

“I’m taking a step back,” she explained. “There’s only one person I also need to look after and that’s myself. I am now taking a step back and that’s it,” she revealed on her weekly podcast. “I’ve still got work, I’ve got exciting things coming up and for my sanity, I don’t know what’s true and what’s not true, I don’t know now.<\/p>\n

“My tentacles are up, my antennas are up and I’ve decided to take a step back from everything, assess everything in my way and just continue with my life and what will be will be.”<\/p>\n

Lee then failed to make contact with Katie on her birthday this week, leaving her devastated.<\/p>\n
