Picture This, my surprise for Rois\u00edn, as she loves that band,\u201d says Aidan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The bride\u2019s parents, Ber Lynch and Ciar\u00e1n Lynch (former Labour TD for Cork South-Central), and the groom\u2019s mother, Betty Pendlebury, toasted to their future happiness.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" Pendlebury and friends Iain O\u2019Driscoll and Jericho Killingbeck were the groomsmen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" pageboy, and niece Saoirse Pendlebury was the flowergirl.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Photographer Dermot Sullivan (<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/dermotsullivan.com\/\">Dermotsullivan.com<\/a>) and videographer Greg Mulcahy were behind the cameras.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" didn\u2019t get to attend the event, Rois\u00edn and Aidan managed to pose for some photographs with him in Clonakilty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The pair first met in April 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cIt was five months after I had moved back to Cork after having lived in London for almost 10 years,\u201d says Rois\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" Civil Wedding Ceremony Photographs, Clonakilty Town Bride and Groom,<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">They got engaged on December 12, 2024, four days before Rois\u00edn\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cAidan suggested we go for a walk on the Inchydoney road after work on a cold, dark evening, and he got down on one knee,\u201d she says. \u201cIt was the perfect proposal as it was on the road where our very first date began.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cIt was a bittersweet month with the untimely passing of Aidan\u2019s beloved older sister, Eil\u00eds Mackie, on December 30 that year. Eil\u00eds was alive to witness our engagement, which we will always remember fondly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/5091291_9_articleinline_0068_dunmore-house-hotel-civil-wedding-photographs_DSC_0733.jpg\" alt=\"Rois\u00edn Lynch and Aidan Pendlebury.\" title=\"Rois\u00edn Lynch and Aidan Pendlebury.\" class=\"card-img\"\/>Rois\u00edn Lynch and Aidan Pendlebury.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The bride sourced her wedding dress from Vows: \u201cCredit needs to go to Caroline Fay-O\u2019Sullivan (@momsaidwearpink on Instagram), who completely transformed the original dress into the perfect version I had envisioned.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The bridesmaids\u2019 dresses were from Diamond Bridal (url=https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/diamond_bridal1\/]@diamond_bridal1[\/url]). The groom and his party were dapper thanks to Tom Murphy Menswear, Cork.
