\n\tDrake has become the first artist<\/a> to hold the top three slots on the albums chart as \u201cIceman,\u201d \u201cHabibti\u201d and \u201cMaid of Honour\u201d debut at Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIceman,\u201d the album that Drake<\/a> had been teasing for nearly two years before its release, enters the Billboard 200<\/a> at No. 1 with 463,000 equivalent album units and earns him his 15th chart-topper, besting Jay-Z\u2019s previous record for most No. 1s among solo men and R&B\/hip-hop artists. Drake also ties Taylor Swift for most No. 1s among solo acts, only behind the Beatles with their record 19 No. 1s. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIceman\u201d marks the second-largest sales week of 2026 for an album behind BTS\u2019 \u201cArirang\u201d (641,000 units), and the biggest week of the year for a R&B\/hip-hop record. Behind \u201cIceman\u201d are \u201cHabibti\u201d and \u201cMaid of Honour\u201d at Nos. 2 and 3, earning 114,000 and 110,000 units, respectively.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs expected, Drake released \u201cIceman\u201d on May 15 after he ramped up to the record for two years. He concretely began teasing it in July 2025 with the first episode of his \u201cIceman\u201d livestream series, where he debuted new music, including the songs \u201cWhat Did I Miss?\u201d and \u201cWhich One\u201d featuring Central Cee.<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake aired his fourth \u201cIceman\u201d livestream on the eve of the album\u2019s release and ended it with the surprise announcement that he was dropping not one, but three new albums simultaneously with the addition of \u201cMaid of Honour\u201d and \u201cHabibti.\u201d Shortly after revealing the album covers for each project, he dropped the trio of albums at midnight heading into Friday.<\/p>\n
