The article said that a woman, aged in her 30s, required medical attention after a car was attacked in a city housing estate.<\/p>\n<p>It has now emerged, after follow-up enquiries, that a boy, believed to be three-years-old, was also in the car at the time and was injured by breaking glass.<\/p>\n<p>There are unconfirmed reports that the vehicle\u2019s windows were smashed by a number of perpetrators while the woman and child were barricaded inside the car.<\/p>\n<p>READ NEXT:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Nothing is sacred: Disability permit stolen from Limerick pensioner\u2019s car while attending Mass<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Following a query from Limerick Live, a garda spokesperson confirmed that officers received a report of \u201can incident of criminal damage of a car that occurred in the Carew Park area of Limerick on Sunday, May 10\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA male child suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident. No further updates are available.
