The new season of Love Island will return to our screens next week<\/a>, launching on Monday 1 June, and now ITV has presented the full 2026 cast lineup \u2013 starting with three new singles first thing this morning, and now having revealed all 12 contestants that will be entering the villa. <\/p>\n

This comes after a sparkly new teaser<\/a> was previously released, unveiling a football-themed direction for the 2026 season \u2013 which will play out at the same time as the World Cup. <\/p>\n

So, let’s meet the Islanders that we’ll be watching all summer… <\/p>\n

\"ope,<\/p>\n

Age: 27
Job: West-End Performer
From: Lincolnshire <\/p>\n

Ope says it’s “so hard” to describe his type, but his bio continues: “I like shorter girls, I’m really big on hair, good teeth and a nice smile. I prefer Northerners because they’ve got better crack. That’s just a fact. I haven’t really got a type, I honestly just go on energy, vibes and if you find my jokes funny.”<\/p>\n

As for what she’s hoping not to see in the villa, Mica has said: “It’s a major turn-off when someone doesn’t have manners. I like a little bit of high maintenance when it’s done in the right way, but if someone is rude with it and not good fun or good vibes, I’d find that quite irritating.” <\/p>\n

Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX, and the new season will launch on 1 June at 9pm.
