That said, how much background is really needed to check out the Weezer frontman\u2019s take on Whitney Houston\u2019s \u201cI Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),\u201d Nirvana\u2019s \u201cDrain You,\u201d and Dolly Parton\u2019s \u201cJolene,\u201d among other genre-spanning classics? You can listen to those below; find the rest of the covers on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@riverscuomo\/videos\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Uploaded as a private playlist called \u201crandum cuverz,\u201d the collection also includes renditions of Green Day\u2019s \u201cWhen I Come Around,\u201d Radiohead\u2019s \u201cCreep,\u201d Sam Hunt\u2019s \u201cBody Like a Back Road,\u201d Michael Jackson\u2019s \u201cBillie Jean,\u201d and Outkast\u2019s \u201cHey Ya!\u201d A number of the covers date back to 2018 and 2019, while others are more than 20 years old. Although some fans have speculated about their origin, a representative for Cuomo confirmed to Pitchfork that they are, in fact, of his making. Cuomo himself has yet to comment on the releases.<\/p>\n<p>In March, Weezer announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/weezer-announce-major-gathering-its-another-tour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fall North American tour<\/a>, set to kick off in September.
