One person has died following a road crash in Clare earlier this week.<\/p>\n
The woman in her 80s passed away yesterday from injuries sustained in the collision near Moymore, Tulla on Monday.<\/p>\n
Emergency services were alerted around 3.30 on Monday following a collision involving two cars on the R352.<\/p>\n
A female passenger, aged in her 80s was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.<\/p>\n
She was pronounced deceased during the early morning of yesterday morning.<\/p>\n
A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to the family of the deceased.<\/p>\n
A female driver of one of the cars, aged in her 50s, was also taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.<\/p>\n
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators attended the scene and an examination took place.<\/p>\n
The road has since reopened.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision to come forward.<\/p>\n
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam and were travelling on the R352 near Moymore, Tulla between 3:00pm and 3:30pm on Monday, are asked to make this available to investigating Garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n
