The folk trio Amble are one of Irish music\u2019s great recent success stories, skyrocketing on streaming sites and selling out arenas since their formation in 2022.<\/p>\n
It has been a fast transition from the singsong early pub gigs through which the group cut their teeth. Their status was cemented by prizes for Breakthrough Irish Artist of the Year and Irish Song of the Year at the RT\u00c9 Choice Music Awards<\/a> in March.<\/p>\n On Friday, a capacity crowd of 20,000 awaits for one of Amble\u2019s largest home shows to date.<\/p>\n When and where is it?<\/p>\n Amble play St Anne\u2019s Park<\/a> in Clontarf, Dublin, on Friday, May 29th.<\/p>\n What time should I arrive?<\/p>\n Gates will open at 5pm, with the first act scheduled to take to the stage at 6pm. A full list of stage times is not yet available, so it\u2019s worth checking Amble\u2019s social media on the day for any updates. The show should wrap up before 11pm.<\/p>\n In an effort to avoid disrupting local residents, no queuing will be allowed at St Anne\u2019s Park before the gates open, meaning you\u2019ll be turned away if you arrive too early. Organisers recommend arriving half an hour before the show is due to start.<\/p>\n Who is playing?<\/p>\n Amble\u2019s fellow Irish folk troubadours Foy Vance and Joshua Burnside make up the support slots, with Amble on headline duties.<\/p>\n What songs will Amble play?<\/p>\n In December 2025 Amble played a run of sold-out shows at 3Arena in Dublin. Organisers say you should allow an additional three hours to travel to and from the venue, as traffic delays are inevitable.<\/p>\n Travel by bus: Dublin Bus has routes towards St Anne\u2019s Park from the city centre. Buses running from Abbey Street Lower to the venue include the H1, H3 and 130; visit dublinbus.ie<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n A range of private coach services are available online, including Marathon Coaches, which will be collecting passengers in Dublin, Enfield, Maynooth, Leixlip, Celbridge, Navan, Blessington and Naas, among other locations. Matthews Coach Hire, McD\u2019s Coach Hire and JJ Kavanagh are also options.<\/p>\n Travel by train\/Dart: The nearest Dart station to St Anne\u2019s Park is at Harmonstown; services will be operating throughout the day. The car parks at St Anne\u2019s Park are closed during events, and towing and clamping are in operation for anyone who parks illegally. Organisers ask attendees not to park illegally or in residential areas.<\/p>\n Are there any tickets left?<\/p>\n This is a sold-out gig, but it\u2019s worth checking Ticketmaster for verified resale tickets. Strict security checks and age monitoring will be in operation, and you are advised not to bring a large bag or backpack, as you may experience delays or even be refused entry.<\/p>\n Prohibited items include glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, camping or collapsible chairs, e-scooters and e-bikes, flares, professional cameras and audio-recording equipment.
