Ravyn Lenae<\/a> has announced a new album, Blue Island, her first since 2024\u2019s Bird\u2019s Eye<\/a> and its billion-streams-and-counting breakout track \u201cLove Me Not.\u201d The LP is Lenae\u2019s third full-length and arrives August 7 via Atlantic. Check out its new wave-y new single \u201cHandle\u201d below, along with an Andre Muir-directed music video that includes choreography by Akira Uchida.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Blue Island\u2019 is a point of arrival, and feeling set in my ways and in who I am, and feeling free of
any of those preconceived notions about Blackness or what I had to be in the past,\u201d Lenae said in a statement about the record\u2019s inception. \u201cI think now it\u2019s fun to challenge the idea of what R&B is supposed to sound like, what pop is supposed to sound like\u2026 and really say \u2018fuck all of that\u2019 and do my own thing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the release of Blue Island, Lenae is set to play more than a dozen dates this summer on both sides of the Atlantic. All stops are also listed below.<\/p>\n
