\n\tSpotify has rolled out<\/a> its 2026 Songs of Summer predictions, listing 30 songs from artists including Zara Larsson, Drake and Ella Langley that its editorial team has named as contenders.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the tracks selected include Drake\u2019s \u201cJanice STFU,\u201d Larsson\u2019s \u201cMidnight Sun,\u201d Langley\u2019s \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d and Kacey Musgraves\u2019 \u201cMexico Honey.\u201d The Spotify editors categorized the songs in four categories: nostalgic club anthems (Bebe Rexha and Faithless\u2019 \u201cNew Religion,\u201d Slayyyter\u2019s \u201cDANCE\u2026\u201d); sadboy summer (Dominic Fike\u2019s \u201cBabydoll,\u201d Malcolm Todd\u2019s \u201cEarrings\u201d); global dance hits (DopeNation\u2019s \u201cKakalika\u201d); and postcard country (Stella Lefty\u2019s \u201cBoston,\u201d Cameron Whitcomb\u2019s \u201cKingdom Fear\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to its own list, Spotify is debuting a new feature that allows in-app voting on the Songs of Summer playlist, with a vote button placed at the top of the playlist to cast a choice.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, Spotify concluded the season with Songs of Summer selections including Alex Warren\u2019s \u201cOrdinary,\u201d Ravyn Lenae\u2019s \u201cLove Me Not,\u201d Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s \u201cManchild,\u201d Sombr\u2019s \u201cBack to Friends\u201d and \u201cShake It to the Max (Fly) \u2013 Remix\u201d by Moliy, Silent Addy, Skillibeng and Shenseea.\u00a0Spotify<\/a>\u00a0noted that summer 2025 was the \u201cleast danceable and lowest-energy summer for music in the past decade\u201d based on \u201ctempos, rhythm stability, beat strength, and overall regularity of the season\u2019s top tracks.\u201d<\/p>\n
