Christine Taylor credited the COVID-19 pandemic for saving her marriage to Ben Stiller after the couple called it quits<\/a> nearly 10 years ago. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf there\u2019s a silver lining for us during Covid, that was the little gift,\u201d Taylor, 54, shared on Tuesday\u2019s episode of the \u201cMcBride Rewind\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all kind of bubbled up together with our kids. Our daughter was graduating high school at the time, our son was graduating eighth grade. We all were in the house together and we had nothing but time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stiller and Taylor are parents to two children: Ella, 24, and Quinlin, 20.<\/p>\n

Taylor told the host that she and the \u201cNight at the Museum\u201d star \u201cfound the way back\u201d to each other after they devoted \u201ca lot of time\u201d to working on their relationship with a therapist.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s something people don\u2019t love to talk about because it feels like a failure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor added that she felt their breakup was because \u201cwe weren\u2019t on the same page with a lot of things.\u201d <\/p>\n

The couple announced their split in 2017 after 17 years of marriage. <\/p>\n

\u201cWith tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate,\u201d Stiller and Taylor said in a joint statement at the time. <\/p>\n

However, the break was short-lived as Stiller later confirmed that the pair had rekindled their romance<\/a> in his 2022 Esquire interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were separated and got back together and we\u2019re happy about that. It\u2019s been really wonderful for all of us.
