\n\tListeners voted in a poll published Friday (May 29)\u00a0on\u00a0Billboard, choosing the star\u2019s highly-anticipated return to music as their favorite release this week.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHate That I Made You Love Me\u201d ascended to the top of the poll in a week that also delivered new music from Latto, aespa and more. When the poll closed on Sunday, Grande held a steady lead, bringing in more than 50% of the vote.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHate That I Made You Love Me\u201d is the first taste of Grande\u2019s eighth studio album, Petal (arriving on July 31), and her first new music release \u2014 outside of her film career \u2014 since 2024\u2019s Eternal Sunshine, which was a No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Petal is set to be released via Grande\u2019s BabyDoll Music imprint label, licensed to Republic Records. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI hate that I made you love me\/ Sorry if I made me your type\/ Yeah, I, I hate that I made you love me\/ \u2018Cause I barely tried,\u201d she sings in the chorus.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song was released Friday, with an official music video still on the way Monday morning (June 1).<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd timed just after the \u201cHate That I Made You Love Me\u201d reveal is the June 8 launch of Grande\u2019s Eternal Sunshine Tour in Oakland, Calif. (See her current list of tour dates here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the new releases trailing behind \u201cHate That I Made You Love Me\u201d this week are Latto\u2019s Big Mama album, with 26% of the vote, and aespa\u2019s LEMONADE \u2013 The 2nd Album, with 14% of the vote.<\/p>\n
