Emmerdale’s Lydia Dingle is pushed to breaking point this week amid Sam Dingle’s ongoing secrecy. <\/p>\n

Viewers know that Lydia has been taking dance lessons by herself, and Sam says he doesn’t want to take part in his partner’s latest hobby. <\/p>\n

However, Sam has been secretly taking dance lessons from Ross Barton to surprise his wife, though his secrecy is starting to take its toll on their relationship, leaving Lydia feeling alone. <\/p>\n

In next week’s scenes, Kim Tate gets the wrong impressio<\/a>n about Sam’s secretive behaviour after learning that he has been lying to Lydia about working extra hours. <\/p>\n

As Kim’s suspicions continue to grow, she begins to suspect that Sam is being unfaithful to Lydia. <\/p>\n

Emmerdale’s latest spoiler clip for Thursday’s episode, which can be viewed below, shows Lydia confronting Sam about not spending enough time together as a couple. <\/p>\n

Sam is still secretly sorting out taking another dancing lesson from Ross when Lydia arrives. She is really at the end of her tether with Sam and asks why he hasn’t checked his phone. <\/p>\n

After Sam checks his phone, he apologises to Lydia, who wanted to have lunch with him. Lydia is confused about what he is up to and why he is so absent.<\/p>\n

She says: “Is it too much to ask, a bit of quality time together? I can’t remember the last time.” <\/p>\n

Ross tries to save the day by suggesting they have lunch the next day, but Sam says he can’t and Lydia leaves. <\/p>\n

Speaking about Kim’s involvement in the storyline, our Emmerdale insider says: “Kim is fiercely protective over Lydia, so she’s fuming when she starts to fear that Sam could be having an affair. It couldn’t be further from the truth – but Sam isn’t doing himself any favours by sneaking around so much.”<\/p>\n

“There’s not much point in a romantic dancing surprise for Lydia if it destroys their marriage,” they explain. “Kim’s theories threaten to make the already-fragile situation even worse. If she speaks up and gives Lydia the wrong idea, all hell could break loose.”<\/p>\n

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX<\/a>.<\/p>\n
