Next week, the members of BTS will arrive in the southeastern port city of Busan to take the stage for a massive, two-day stadium celebration marking 13 years since their debut.

But ahead of that massive homecoming, the world’s biggest boy band announced Tuesday that it is releasing a highly personal, limited-edition vinyl project — one that trades slick pop production for candid, behind-the-scenes conversations about anxiety and survival.

The release, a collectible picture disc vinyl of its fifth album, “ARIRANG,” will drop June 12. Modeled as a special gift for their anniversary, it includes two new bonus tracks that give fans a rare, unvarnished look at the lives of the seven bandmates behind the pop machinery.

The announcement arrives just as the group kicks off “2026 BTS FESTA,” its traditional two-week festival celebrating its June 13 debut anniversary. The annual event is a favorite among its global fan base, known as ARMY, featuring a rolling schedule of lighthearted content, new “family portraits” of the band and interactive online events. It all leads up to the June 12-13 concerts at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium, which is expected to draw tens of thousands of fans to the city.

For a group that has spent more than a decade under the relentless glare of global celebrity, the newly added tracks appear designed to offer a more vulnerable, intimate conversation with its audience. One addition, a Korean version of the song “NORMAL,” addresses the weight of the group’s immense fame, exploring the quiet spaces, self-doubt and longing for an ordinary life that exist once the stadium spotlights turn off.

The second bonus track, “Voice Message: Love Song,” abandons traditional musical structures entirely. Instead, it presents an informal audio diary of the members sitting down and chatting casually about a simple question: “What is your love song?” The track functions as an auditory time capsule, capturing the group’s natural camaraderie and their gratitude toward the fans who have stayed by their side for over a decade.

The special vinyl will be sold through Weverse, the global fan community platform run by its agency, HYBE. By anchoring its 13th year with a tangible record rather than a quick digital drop, the group is leaning into the nostalgic, tactile side of music — giving its audience a permanent keepsake of a major milestone.
