JoJo Siwa has a new accessory: an eye patch!<\/p>\n
The \u201cDance Moms\u201d alum posted a video on June 1 showing off the eye patch, joking, \u201cThings aren\u2019t going too well,\u201d adding, \u201cOn top of this, I also have a concussion. I\u2019m a mess.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also shared a peek at her reddened, irritated eye, as well as some progress photos of the infection.<\/p>\n
Siwa explained she fell off her golf cart, which is how she got the concussion. She added that the eye infection is unrelated, but it is a \u201cgnarly\u201d case.<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old is supposed to be on bed\/couch rest for the next few days.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been a very long week,\u201d JoJo added in the post\u2019s caption. \u201cWith rest, my concussion has been recovering well. No where near 100 percent, but on a good track. My eye however, is taking longer than expected to come around.\u201d<\/p>\n
And while she\u2019s in the care of a \u201clovely team of doctors,\u201d Siwa admitted she\u2019s also planning to do some rehearsal work for her upcoming tour.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s definitely a bit early to be going back into everything and I have to be very careful of not being 100 percent recovered,\u201d JoJo admitted. \u201cBut the greatest saying in Hollywood, which I\u2019m realizing to be true, the show must go on.\u201d<\/p>\n
She concluded her update with a joke, saying, \u201cIf you see me with sunglasses on, just know, I\u2019m not being a dramatic diva, just taking care of my eye giving it a bit of relief.\u201d<\/p>\n
Siwa has had a tricky health year so far. In December, she was rushed to the hospital after an ovarian cyst ruptured, but bounced back quickly.<\/p>\n
