With Clarkson’s Farm back on Prime Video for its fifth season, fans will be delighting in the chance to head back to Diddly Squat for more heart, humour and insight. But with only four episodes appearing on its initial launch date, when will the rest follow?<\/p>\n

Luckily, the second half of the run isn’t too far away, and the whole lot will be out within the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n

So with this season consisting of eight episodes in total, when will the next four – entitled ‘Decapitating’, ‘Frazzling’, ‘Sickening’ and ‘Reaping’ – hit the streamer? And will there be a sixth season beyond that? We’ve got all the info you need.<\/p>\n

When are the next episodes of Clarkson’s Farm season 5 released?<\/p>\n

The bad news is that viewers have a week to wait before the next drop, but the good news is that it’ll be a double-bill. Episodes five and six are both out next Wednesday, 10 June, and after that, the final two episodes will land in tandem on Wednesday, 17 June. That means the schedule in full is as follows:<\/p>\n

Will Clarkson’s Farm return for season 6?<\/p>\n

It looks highly likely that the show will be back, with Clarkson himself writing in his Sunday Times<\/a> column earlier this year that production had been briefly halted due to poor weather.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, The Independent<\/a> reported in April that planning documents submitted to West Oxfordshire District Council relating to his farm shop said: “Season five will air this year and season six has been commissioned and will air in summer 2027.”<\/p>\n

What is Clarkson’s Farm season 5 about?<\/p>\n

The synopsis for this batch of episodes reads: “Clarkson\u2019s Farm is back, and amidst a government budget that sends the UK farming community into uproar, Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly. <\/p>\n

“But while the farm tries to go high-tech – resulting in Kaleb\u2019s first ever trip abroad – even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge.”<\/p>\n

What are critics saying about Clarkson’s Farm season 5?<\/p>\n

Reviews for season five have been generally positive so far, with The Guardian<\/a> issuing a three-star verdict, saying it works best when “we find ourselves back where we were when the show began, with a guy eager to learn more about something alien to him”.<\/p>\n

The Times<\/a> gave four stars, saying that “while there are moments when you feel he is winging it, Clarkson winging it is still deliciously funny.” Radio Times<\/a> gave four stars, too, saying the show is in “good health”.

Metro<\/a>, on the other hand, gave a more critical two stars, saying: “Now we\u2019re up to season five… the novelty has somewhat worn off. The wince-inducing antics of season one just feel rinse-and-repeat at this point.”
