The HSE Health App update also includes notifications from cervical and bowel screening services<\/p>\n
Members of the public can now view waiting lists for upcoming outpatient appointments as part of the latest updates to the HSE app.<\/p>\n
Users will be able to see their appointments on the app, as well as information on the waiting list they are currently on, the hospital, and the date they were added.<\/p>\n
The app also now includes information on telephone and video appointments. Users can view appointment information and guidance on how to access the remote appointment.<\/p>\n
HSE chief technology and transformation officer Damien McCallion said that the HSE Health App is being downloaded almost 1,000 times every day.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the aims of the HSE app is to transform the health service experience for patients and staff and ensure patients and their clinicians have access to the health information they need to achieve the best outcomes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cUsing the app will help patients access the right care, in the right place, at the right time.\u201d<\/p>\n
The latest HSE Health App 5.2 update also includes notifications from cervical and bowel screening services.<\/p>\n
This is on top of existing services provided by the app, including:<\/p>\n
Patient-facing outpatient appointments, inpatient and day case waiting list information, BreastCheck appointments, and general and specialist GP referrals
\nDigital versions of European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), drug payment scheme card, long-term Illness and medical cards, a list of self-declared and reimbursed medications, flu vaccination and COVID-19 records, and chronic disease management.
\nCare plans for smoking cessation, week-by-week healthy pregnancy information and a ten-week free physical activity plan aimed\u202fto support\u202fpeople to become more active.
