Love Island is so back. The U.S. version of the hit reality dating series premiered on Tuesday, June 2, introducing 10 new Islanders, along with a pair of bombshells, who arrived in Fiji in search of love and the $100,000 cash prize.<\/p>\n
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Fiji\u2019s Mamanuca Islands, the singles will couple up, share a villa, go on dates and take part in challenges designed to test their relationships and shake up the competition. They\u2019ll be guided by their host, former Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, who returns after making her debut in Season 6.<\/p>\n
Of course, it wouldn\u2019t be Love Island without bombshells. Throughout Season 8, new Islanders will enter the villa in hopes of turning heads and disrupting existing couples. This year\u2019s O.G. cast includes 23-year-old Aniya Harvey from Tyrone, Georgia; 20-year-old Bryce Dettloff from Los Angeles, California; and 25-year-old Beatriz Hatz from San Diego, California. As Peacock explains<\/a>, \u201cThe show is filmed in real-time, but with Fiji’s 19-hour time difference and editing needs, new Love Island USA episodes are released on a delay.\u201d<\/p>\n The contestants will be staying in a custom-built, two\u2011story Villa in Fiji, which includes numerous romantic and communal spaces for connections to spark, such as large pool, the Soul Ties daybed, a Speakeasy, a Say Less waterfront lounge and the iconic photo booth.<\/p>\n Madix hinted during the Season 8 villa tour<\/a> that the villa was designed specifically for \u201cmaximum romantic impact.\u201d<\/p>\n How To Watch Love Island USA Season 8<\/p>\n New episodes of Love Island USA Season 8 are exclusively available to stream on Peacock.
