The app has introduced a new red-themed icon that stands out a bit more in a sea of blue health apps on the smartwatch, and also feels a bit more aligned with Google\u2019s new design language as seen on <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2026\/05\/26\/google-workspace-icons-redesign\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"715869\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new Workspace icons<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2026\/05\/27\/pixel-buds-new-icon-update\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"716156\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">elsewhere<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The update also ditches the \u201cFitbit\u201d branding that <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/11\/Fitbit-ECG-app-Pixel-Watch.jpg?quality=82&amp;strip=all\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was used<\/a> in the app drawer label. This is probably as a result of the Google Health rebrand, <a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/9to5google.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/10\/pixel-watch-2-fitbit-10.jpg?w=1500&amp;quality=82&amp;strip=all&amp;ssl=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">with other apps that were previously<\/a> Fitbit-branded (such as Exercise) now also removing the Fitbit moniker.
