George Knight from Love Island’s 2026 edition walked in just a few days ago as a bombshell to shake up the villa, yet has already quit the ITV series.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/a> has confirmed that George had left the villa today, 4 June, with ITV<\/a> releasing a statement confirming the news.<\/p>\n

George is a semi-professional footballer<\/a>, playing for Dorking Wanderers FC, and only arrived in the villa on Tuesday, appearing alongside another bombshell Yasmin Hadlow.<\/p>\n

He and Yasmin caused chaos in their first 24 hours in the villa, sending home two members of the villa, Ellie Chadwick and Samraj Toor, in a ‘secret mission’<\/a> tasked by celebrity<\/a> host Maya Jama.<\/p>\n

Since George felt a connection with Mica Harris<\/a>, he was keen to break up her pairing with Samraj.<\/p>\n

What the others don’t know is that Ellie and Samraj appear to have not been truly dumped from Love Island<\/a>, both spending a secret night in the Hideaway and being hinted to have a bigger role to come, but attention was still placed upon both George and Yasmin in the aftermath.<\/p>\n

His Instagram has received several angry comments in the wake of him booting Samraj, but ITV has not confirmed the reasoning for his decision to leave the villa.<\/p>\n

\"GeorgeGeorge has left the villa after 48 hours (ITV)<\/p>\n

ITV said in a statement to LADbible: “For private reasons, George has left the Love Island Villa. We have a duty of care towards George and as such will not be commenting further.”<\/p>\n

He stated previously that he was ‘open to a bit of friction’ in the villa, saying: “I don\u2019t seek drama but I’m quite naturally competitive but if there\u2019s something in my way, I want to put my best foot forward.”<\/p>\n

George also said of his philosophy for dating: “You don\u2019t want to get too deep, too early on. I\u2019m open to getting to know everyone but as weeks go by, figure it out. I play midfield so maybe I\u2019d go for that. If someone walked in that was straight away my type obviously I\u2019d jump at it.”<\/p>\n

In tonight’s episode, Robyn is set to pull George for a chat about why he made the decision to show Samraj the door. <\/p>\n

Robyn, who has previously shared a kiss with George, asks: “What did you make your decision off? Basically competition?”<\/p>\n

George responds: \u201cPersonal gain, don\u2019t take it personally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Ellie and Samraj are plotting their revenge against George and Yasmin.<\/p>\n

Samraj tells Ellie: “George and Yasmin were playing the victim. Yasmin was crying, and George was huffing and puffing, but you should just own it.<\/p>\n

“I can\u2019t wait to go in there, see their faces drop. Everyone else\u2019s faces will be like oh my god, they’re back. Them two will be like f**k, we f**ked it.”<\/p>\n

While Ellie said: “I promise you it’s going to be the worst mistake of [their] life.”<\/p>\n

Ellie is determined to pursue Aidan if they return to the villa, but considering the preview clip shows him sharing a smooch with Yasmin, that may be easier said than done.<\/p>\n

Age: 21<\/p>\n

Robyn is a quantity surveyor and DJ from Liverpool. Detailing her ideal \u2018type of paper\u2019, she is looking for a \u2018tall, fair, muscles, nice teeth, pretty boy\u2019 who can make her laugh and has good manners, though the 21-year-old insists she\u2019s \u2018more into personality\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cFinding love is my only goal. There may be a little bit of drama but I\u2019m going in there for myself so I\u2019ve got to do what I\u2019ve got to do,\u201d she says. \u201cBut I would like to think I\u2019m a girl\u2019s girl and that I handle situations quite well. I\u2019ve got a mature brain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lorenzo\"LorenzoLorenzo (ITV)<\/p>\n

Age: 28<\/p>\n

The Hertfordshire native describes himself as a bit of a \u2018teaser\u2019 though sometimes \u2018it could go too far\u2019.<\/p>\n

Lorenzo, who\u2019s a business owner, traditionally goes for blondes \u2018but not always\u2019 and \u2018quite likes a posh girl\u2019.<\/p>\n

Calling drama \u2018fun\u2019, he says: \u201cAs long as no one is crying, all is fair in love and war. It\u2019ll be interesting to see what unfolds\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Mica\"MicaMica (ITV)<\/p>\n

Age: 21<\/p>\n

Mica is a 21-year-old student from Barbados but is currently living in London.<\/p>\n

She says she\u2019s looking for a tall man who can make her laugh, but the \u2018most important thing\u2019 is personality.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I\u2019m going after someone\u2019s man, I\u2019m going to do it respectfully but I\u2019m still ultimately trying to get what I want,\u201d Mica says, noting that it\u2019s \u2018super important\u2019 that she also gets on well with the girls in the Villa.<\/p>\n

Sean\"SeanSean (ITV)<\/p>\n

Age: 25<\/p>\n

Sean, from Galway in Ireland, simply describes his type as \u2018female\u2019.<\/p>\n

The primary school teacher says he\u2019s \u2018here for love but also here for drama\u2019.<\/p>\n

However, Sean asserts: \u201cIf I see someone I like, I\u2019m going for it and nothing\u2019s gonna stop me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ellie\"EllieEllie (ITV)<\/p>\n

Age: 24<\/p>\n

Real estate videographer Ellie tends to go for the classic \u2018tall, dark and handsome\u2019 with nice teeth and tattoos but is \u2018partial to a blonde as well\u2019.<\/p>\n

When it comes to handling the other competition, the West Lothian local says: \u201cThere\u2019s nothing else I can do than be me. People love me and if they don\u2019t then they\u2019re clearly not okay. Listen, we\u2019re all there for one reason, but I\u2019m going to get my win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Samraj\"SamrajSamraj (ITV)<\/p>\n

Age: 25<\/p>\n

Samraj, a model from Birmingham, claims not to have a \u2018type\u2019 but likes \u2018the way a woman carries herself, her mannerisms\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cWithout sounding arrogant, in the outside world I don\u2019t really chase that much, I\u2019m used to girls coming to me. I know in the Villa it\u2019s a different dynamic,\u201d he says of his approach. \u201cIn the beginning, I\u2019m not going to be pushing myself out there, I\u2019m just gonna watch and see who I like and then go from there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lola says she likes \u2018tall, Italian-looking\u2019 men, even though she \u2018always ends up with blondes\u2019, as well as \u2018someone who is smart\u2019.<\/p>\n

The detective from Kent admits she \u2018can be a bit of a brat\u2019 but is \u2018really looking for love\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to find someone who is actually the love of my life, like obsessed with me kind of thing,\u201d Lola emphasises. \u201cI think I\u2019m missing someone who is obsessed with me!\u201d<\/p>\n

Samuel is an electrician from Dudley and is looking for someone who is \u2018classy, mature, blonde, fun\u2019, and \u2018doesn\u2019t take themselves too seriously\u2019.<\/p>\n

Insisting he goes \u2018straight for the goal\u2019, the 25-year-old says: \u201cI always go after what I want. Life\u2019s too short for games, and I\u2019m very honest about how I feel. When I like someone, I\u2019m the least nonchalant person ever. There\u2019s no messing around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Angelista\"AngelistaAngelista (ITV)<\/p>\n

Staffordshire nurse Angelista\u2019s typical type is \u2018tall, dark and handsome\u2019, though she is hoping for \u2018a quietly confident man with nice teeth\u2019 as well as \u2018a listener and a doer\u2019.<\/p>\n

When it comes to her plan for the Villa, she explains: \u201cI\u2019ll put myself in the position to be seen by the guys so they know I\u2019m interested, but I\u2019m not gonna beg it. I\u2019ll be in the mix, 100%, I\u2019m not watching in the back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ope\"OpeOpe (ITV)<\/p>\n

Age: 27<\/p>\n

Ope, who is a West-End Performer from Lincolnshire, says he hasn\u2019t \u2018really got a type\u2019 but is \u2018big on hair, good teeth and a nice smile\u2019. However, he does \u2018prefer Northerners because they\u2019ve got better crack\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy thing is to go for the goal and make someone laugh straight away. I think that\u2019s the key to love and the key to getting girls,\u201d Ope says, before adding: \u201cI\u2019ve got the best smile in Britain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jasmine\"JasmineJasmine (ITV)<\/p>\n

Jasmine is originally from Dubai but now lives in London as a business owner. She describes her ideal type as someone who is \u2018objectively hot, really charismatic, and confident\u2019.<\/p>\n

Revealing that she \u2018lives\u2019 for drama, Jasmine says: \u201cI\u2019m always involved in everyone\u2019s business. I\u2019m basically the auntie of the group. Everyone literally calls me \u2018Jasmine Auntie\u2019. So bring me love, bring me drama, bring all of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Property broker Aidan says personality is \u2018the most important thing\u2019 for him and likes \u2018someone who\u2019s fun, can take a joke and doesn\u2019t take themselves too seriously\u2019.<\/p>\n

When it comes to his love life, the Kent lad explains that \u2018it hasn\u2019t really taken off yet\u2019.<\/p>\n

Aidan adds: \u201cHopefully being in the Villa will turn things around. I\u2019m just ready for it now!\u201d<\/p>\n
