June 5 (Reuters) – Morgan Stanley is projecting that SpaceX’s revenue could reach $3.4 trillion in 2040, \u200cthe Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing \u200cpeople familiar with the matter.<\/p>\n
The Wall Street giant is anticipating that \u200brevenue from SpaceX’s AI business will dramatically grow in the coming years, the report said.<\/p>\n
Elon Musk’s SpaceX began meeting with investors on Thursday in its IPO \u200croadshow. The rocket \u2060and satellite maker is aiming to raise $75 billion, in what would be the biggest \u2060IPO ever.<\/p>\n
Morgan Stanley projects SpaceX’s AI business will contribute around $190 billion in revenue in 2030, while total revenue \u200bis expected \u200bto be near $330 billion \u200bthat year, the WSJ \u200creport said.<\/p>\n
In 2025, SpaceX’s revenue jumped to $18.67 billion from $14.02 billion a year earlier, but the company swung to a net loss of $4.94 billion from a profit of $791 million.<\/p>\n
SpaceX’s AI segment raked in $3.2 billion in \u200crevenue in 2025.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs is \u200bexpecting revenue from SpaceX’s AI \u200bdivision to surge \u200bto $322 billion by 2030, the Financial \u200cTimes reported on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Morgan Stanley \u200bis among the \u200blead underwriters for SpaceX’s IPO, besides Goldman Sachs, BofA Securities, Citigroup and J.P. Morgan.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for \u200bMorgan Stanley \u200cdeclined to comment. Reuters could not independently verify \u200bthe report.<\/p>\n
