Ryan Tubridy married Dr. Clare Kambamettu in an intimate ceremony in Connemara, Co. Galway on December 7, 2025<\/p>\n
Ryan Tubridy has shared details about his magical wedding day – and the moment he realised his wife was the one.<\/p>\n
The broadcaster married Dr Clare Kambamettu last December<\/a> in a stunning Galway<\/a> ceremony.<\/p>\n The pair first crossed paths in 2023, and Ryan has revealed he knew quite quickly that she was someone special.<\/p>\n “I knew quite soon after we met that I was dealing with somebody very special,” Ryan<\/a> told RSVP Magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n “It wouldn’t have taken me too long. I don’t want to say too much and I don’t want to embarrass her, but I would have had a good feeling about Clare from the get-go. Then we found our way and it worked out nicely.”<\/p>\n The couple exchanged vows in Connemara last year, and it proved to be an unforgettable occasion.<\/p>\n Dr Clare Kambamettu and Ryan Tubridy(Image: Antony Jones\/Getty Images for The Irish Post)<\/p>\n “It was the most beautiful day because it was authentic and sincere and warm and loving,” the former Late Late Show presenter gushed.<\/p>\n “Everyone had a good time. It was a party, it didn’t feel like an austere, formal wedding. It was a gathering of happy people, and it was a wonderful, wonderful day.<\/p>\n “I thought she looked amazing. I was knocked out when I saw her that morning, I can tell you. She’s a very caring person and she cared where the dress came from, she wanted to shop local, she wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fast fashion dress. She loves not wasting, and yet she can do it so effortlessly and look beautiful.<\/p>\n All the flowers and everything we used we bought locally in the Connemara area. It was very much a case of supporting the local businesses and trying to keep it in the country as much as we could. We’re going to do it properly.”<\/p>\n He went on to say that the pair are settling into married life wonderfully.<\/p>\n “It’s treating me very, very well indeed,” the podcaster said. “It’s very nice. We’re very well suited actually. We love reading, we love doing crosswords, we love going for a little run, we love Connemara.<\/p>\n “It all makes sense.
