Jennifer Lopez<\/a> and Brett Goldstein<\/a> have broken their silence on rumors about them being romantically involved.<\/p>\n

The stars of new Netflix<\/a> romantic comedy, Office Romance, were guests on the Tuesday (June 2) episode of TODAY<\/a>, where they dished on their movie as well as confirming that they\u2019re not dating. The discussion about their closeness began around the 3-minute mark below, when TODAY co-anchor Savannah Guthrie<\/a> asked whether Lopez and Goldstein had developed an off-camera romance.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere’s never a time when I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person,\u201d joked Lopez, who finalized her divorce<\/a> from actor-director Ben Affleck<\/a> last year. The couple were married for 2 years and reconciled nearly 2 decades after their first engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think if you stand near her, that’s what happens,\u201d Goldstein added. \u201cThat’s why I’ve been standing so close this whole time.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Gunthrie refused to take Lopez and Goldstein\u2019s words as a final answer, Lopez joked about another actor that she\u2019s falsely been romantically paired with.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause all these people that they put me\u2026I think I was with Kevin Costner <\/a>this year,\u201d Lopez said. \u201cI was with\u2013there was a lot of people. It happens all the time. Doesn’t make it true.\u201d<\/p>\n

After 4 divorces within 30 years, Lopez has stressed how fulfilled she is as a single woman<\/a>. While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a> last week, Lopez explained why she would have gotten divorced \u201csooner\u201d and has been doing relationships \u201call wrong\u201d before.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now,\u201d she told Kimmel. \u201cI’ll meet somebody somewhere one day if they\u2019re good enough.\u201d<\/p>\n
