He opens a drawer, pulls out his iconic mask and quietly says: &#8220;I remember. I am VR Man.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He puts on the mask and suddenly the memories come flooding back.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re transported back to the, erm, glory days of VR Man fighting criminals, saving civilians and doing whatever it was VR Man used to do every week.<\/p>\n<p>The fan video cleverly mixes AI-generated footage with clips from the original series, creating the feeling of a forgotten hero looking back at his past.<\/p>\n<p>Then comes the transformation.<\/p>\n<p>He starts building himself a high-tech battle suit. Think less &#8220;1998 Mediacorp wardrobe department&#8221; and more &#8220;Bruce Wayne after a massive funding round.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The upgraded armour looks like a cross between Iron Man, Batman and a futuristic military exoskeleton.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"And yet, nearly 30 years later, people still remember it.
