Honor \u2014 whom Alba shares with ex Cash Warren \u2014 celebrated her 18th birthday<\/a> on Sunday<\/a>, June 7, and the proud mom shared a touching tribute.<\/p>\n “Happy 18th Birthday to my Honor \ud83e\udd0d My sweet girl, my brilliant girl, my shining light,” Alba wrote alongside a montage video of Honor’s childhood. “As I reflect on the last 18 years, I can honestly say they have been the most profound of my life. You opened my heart and expanded my understanding of love in ways I never knew were possible.”<\/p>\n Alba added, “You have always lit up every room you enter. You are kind and considerate, yet feisty and witty. Your humor is quick, sharp, and unexpected. You are wildly intelligent, endlessly curious, and I could not be more proud of the young woman you have become.”<\/p>\n Honor \u2014 who is heading to Yale University in the fall \u2014\u00a0graduated high school just days ahead of her 18th birthday.<\/p>\n “As you step into adulthood, part of me wants to hold you close forever and keep you safe.
