The whirlwind May-December romance results in a bitter feud, as it blows up Alice and Steve’s 30-year-plus friendship. Alice tries every twisted trick in the book to end Izzy’s relationship with her ex-best pal before it has the chance to grow legs. The only problem is Steve isn’t willing to back down. <\/p>\n

Disney+ has described the “anti-romantic comedy” as a hilarious, messy and complicated exploration of friendship, family, and love,” as the pair test how far they will go for love.

Based on the bestselling novel from Carley Fortune, the eight-episode series is set in the idyllic lake town Barry’s Bay and follows the love story between Percy (Sadie Soverall) and Sam (Matt Cornett) over the course of six years and one week. <\/p>\n
