Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/a> had some choice words for President Donald Trump<\/a> on Sunday<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you grew up in New York, you knew he was an ******* and a liar from day one,\u201d she told Variety outside the Tony Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actor and former TV host also shared some memories of Trump as a New Yorker.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember when his planes were repossessed<\/a> off the runways at LaGuardia. I remember when he was broke<\/a>. I remember when he would call up places and pretend<\/a> to be his own publicist,\u201d she said, adding: \u201cHe is a conman. He is a narcissist. And he is a psychopath, if you ask me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Variety also asked her how she think the president will be greeted at Madison Square Garden on Monday, where he\u2019s expected to show up<\/a> for the NBA finals game between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith a lot of boos, and I\u2019m happy to hear it,\u201d she predicted.<\/p>\n

Trump had fired off a post on Truth Social one day earlier accusing O\u2019Donnell of being \u201cobsessed<\/a>\u201d with him, and depicting her thinking of the president at all hours.<\/p>\n

While O\u2019Donnell has frequently criticized Trump, the president has also spent plenty of his own time obsessing over her, often attacking and insulting her on social media.<\/p>\n

After Trump won the 2024 election, O\u2019Donnell moved to Ireland \u2015 which she said was a matter of self-preservation<\/a> \u2015 and applied for Irish citizenship. Trump in turn\u00a0threatened<\/a> to take her citizenship away, a power he does not have<\/a> since she was born in the United States.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell said on Instagram<\/a> she will be back in the U.S. this summer, where she will be performing a one-woman show in New York.<\/p>\n
