After many cozy sightings<\/a> together and recent DeuxMoi pictures of them holding hands en route to Via Carota<\/a> last week, Andy Cohen has confirmed it himself: he\u2019s in a relationship. \u201cPeople have asked me for a long time, you know, \u2018When are you going to get a boyfriend, why don\u2019t you have a boyfriend?\u2019\u201d he told Andy Cohen! producer John Hill during Monday\u2019s episode of Andy Cohen Live<\/a>. \u201cI have always said, \u2018I will know when I meet the person\u2019 \u2026 and I am really happy to say that I met the person, you guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen and his person \u2014 whom he did not mention by name, but whom multiple outlets have identified as New York businessman Kevin Sobieski<\/a> \u2014 met at a July 4 party in the Hamptons last year. Cohen almost didn\u2019t attend: \u201cI never get invited to gay parties in the Hamptons anymore. I was like, You know what, let me just go.\u201d After spotting Sobieski across the room, Cohen says the two talked all night before he \u201cvery methodically\u201d put his number in Sobieski\u2019s phone. The Bravo producer said the two have been \u201cslow and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other\u201d these last 11 months, with Cohen slowly introducing Sobieski to his kids, a 7-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. \u201cThis man is kind, and strong, and smart, and he\u2019s an adult, and he loves my children,\u201d Cohen said, adding that the relationship is \u201cso easy,\u201d without fights or disagreements. \u201cWe just view life the same way,\u201d Cohen gushed. \u201cOne year later, I still can\u2019t believe I found him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen, who\u2019s notoriously tight-lipped about his personal life, said that he\u2019d been thinking about sharing the official news on his radio show in July, the one-year mark of the relationship. The Bravo family\u00a0kept his secret \u2014 he showed \u201cso many Housewives\u201d photos of Sobieski at BravoCon \u2014 but it wasn\u2019t until the Via Carota photos surfaced last week that he decided to address it. He thanked his co-hosts and audience for respecting his privacy, adding he\u00a0\u201cwanted to be smart and slow before saying anything about this.\u201d<\/p>\n

It sounds like smart and slow is going really well. Cohen got \u201clow-key\u201d Sobieski into Traitors, and while he apparently hasn\u2019t watched any Housewives yet, he might have the perfect person to binge it with.<\/p>\n
