<\/p>\nThe RTE Today Show star has confirmed that he is off the market and is in a very happy relationship as he opened up about the pair meeting each other’s families<\/p>\n

James Patrice is off the market as he recently revealed he is in a relationship<\/a>.<\/p>\n The broadcaster and social media star <\/a>shared that his new beau also works in television and the pair have known each other for two years.<\/p>\n However, they just got together recently.<\/p>\n \u201cAs someone who\u2019s been perpetually single for a number of years, I am seeing someone now. I\u2019m in a relationship. It\u2019s not a woman; shock, horror, I am queer,” he laughed.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s a man in my life and he\u2019s a really lovely person. He works in TV<\/a> as well. He\u2019s a great man. I\u2019ve known him for two years, but we only got together over the last while and it\u2019s going great. I haven\u2019t posted him online, but will when the time is right. I\u2019m happy out.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking to VIP Magazine, James added that the pair have met each other’s families and survived to tell the tale.<\/p>\n \u201cHe met the whole gang!” he said. “It was a baptism of fire. It was one of Fron\u2019s famous Sunday dinners and he survived. I met his family as well and they\u2019re lovely. That\u2019s the big obstacle, meeting the parents and it\u2019s done. So far, so good!\u201d<\/p>\n James is a public figure and much loved on social media, but admitted it has been great to keep his romance private.<\/p>\n \u201cI think so, definitely,” he said. “It\u2019s great to have some things just for your own personal enjoyment and journey. You don\u2019t want or need to put everything online.\u201d<\/p>\n James has also said that the pair met a couple of years ago, fell out of contact and then reconnected.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had known each other through TV, and we had texted a bit at the time. He will blame me when he reads this for not texting him back. I contest that profusely,\u201d he told Goss.ie.<\/p>\n \u201cBut then we reconnected a few months ago, and now we\u2019re in a relationship! And it\u2019s all going well.
