Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has remembered the late Catherine O\u2019Hara as \u201csuch a joy to be with\u201d and said it was \u201cjust heartbreaking to lose her\u201d.<\/p>\n

The award-winning actress, known for starring in Schitt\u2019s Creek and Home Alone, died on January 30th at the age of 71 from a pulmonary embolism, following a cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Hara collaborated with Cranston on many projects such as action film Argylle and comedy series 30 Rock, and they appeared together on Andy Cohen\u2019s chat show, Watch What Happens Live.<\/p>\n

The pair recently starred in acclaimed Apple TV series The Studio together, with Cranston as unhinged billionaire Griffin Mill while O\u2019Hara portrayed his character\u2019s rival Patty Leigh.<\/p>\n

Appearing on Variety\u2019s Actors On Actors show, Cranston and Better Call Saul star Rhea Seehorn discussed the \u201csad\u201d death of O\u2019Hara.<\/p>\n

The Malcolm In The Middle star said: \u201cOh, we miss her so much.<\/p>\n

\u201cI played Catherine O\u2019Hara\u2019s husband in three different productions. And then she was my nemesis in The Studio.<\/p>\n

\u201cI miss her so much. She was such a joy to be with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cranston continued: \u201cCatherine O\u2019Hara was a person who you not only marvelled at her comedic chops, but when it\u2019s \u2018cut\u2019, you say \u2018I want to sit next to Catherine\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was just heartbreaking to lose her.\u201d<\/p>\n

He paid tribute to O\u2019Hara in a post on Instagram shortly after her death, hailing her as \u201ca genius comedic actor and a beautiful human being\u201d who he \u201cadored\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tributes flooded in for O\u2019Hara, and she was remembered across awards season earlier this year \u2013 winning a posthumous award at the Actor Awards for her role in The Studio.<\/p>\n

Her co-star Seth Rogen delivered an emotional tribute while picking up the prize, and remembered her as \u201cone of the key parts\u201d of The Studio when the show won the Bafta international award in May.<\/p>\n

The upcoming series is set to air later this year and will feature a guest appearance from pop star Madonna \u2013 marking her return to acting after more than 20 years.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on working alongside the award-winning singer, Cranston told Seehorn: \u201cMadonna\u2019s great. I gotta say, her work ethic is really impressive.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe paparazzi were everywhere trying to get a picture of her.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut, I was really impressed with how much she prepared. Because we didn\u2019t know \u2014 it\u2019s been a while since she acted.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut she was terrific. And she\u2019s very funny.\u201d<\/p>\n
