With the Walker Cup taking place at Lahinch Golf Club on 5th & 6th September, the world-famous\u00a0 links will host the 124th staging of the South of Ireland Amateur Open Championship from Wednesday 22nd July to Sunday 26th July 2026.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Walker Cup team is due to be selected shortly after the South of Ireland, and most of the\u00a0 potential team are expected to join Ireland\u2019s leading amateur golfers to compete for the oldest\u00a0 trophy in Irish amateur golf.\u00a0<\/p>\n
