David Harbour finally confirmed he had tension with Millie Bobby Brown on the set of \u201cStranger Things.\u201d<\/p>\n
Addressing the rumors for the first time, the actor spoke with Variety<\/a> about the allegations that Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim<\/a>\u00a0against him before they shot the final season of the Netflix show.<\/p>\n The 51-year-old questioned the \u201cweird\u201d timing of the Nov. 2025 report<\/a> of the allegations, saying the story \u201ccame out in a weird way.\u201d<\/p>\n David Harbour (seen above) confirmed he had tension with Millie Bobby Brown on the set of \u201cStranger Things\u201d in a new interview with Variety. Nino Munoz for Variety<\/p>\n Harbour compared his alleged drama with Brown to families who \u201cget in arguments\u201d but always \u201ccome back together.\u201d Nino Munoz for Variety<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a show that went on for 10 years,\u201d he explained of the hit Netflix series. \u201cWe worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cDTF St. Louis\u201d star compared his alleged drama with Brown, 22, to families who \u201coccasionally get in arguments, disagreements\u201d but always \u201ccome back together.\u201d<\/p>\n Harbour also claimed other people on the show\u2019s set got \u201cinvolved\u201d in the situation, but once he and Brown \u201ccleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other,\u201d they were \u201cfine.\u201d<\/p>\n Harbour (seen above with Brown at the \u201cStranger Things\u201d Season 5 premiere afterparty in November 2025) said other people on the show\u2019s set got \u201cinvolved\u201d in the drama. The Hollywood Reporter via Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cIt was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we\u2019re fine,\u201d Harbour said (He\u2019s seen above with Brown at the \u201cStranger Things 4\u201d premiere in New York in 2022). Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cEveryone nowadays is very scared of talking about things,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cPeople are very scared of being human. It\u2019s unfortunate, because I don\u2019t know how to navigate this weird media world.<\/p>\n \u201cBut it was completely normal, and we adore each other and always have,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n Harbour also hinted that he and Brown have plans to work together again.<\/p>\n \u201cStraight up, Millie and I are working on several \u2026 You\u2019ll see more of me and Millie \u2014 10 years wasn\u2019t enough,\u201d he shared. \u201cThere is a special bond there. I love her. Getty Images for Netflix<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the Variety story, Harbour confirmed he skipped the celebrations for the \u201cStranger Things\u201d finale in December because of mental health issues. <\/p>\n \u201cI had a breakdown,\u201d Harbour said, before laughing and adding, \u201cI do suffer from some confusing stuff \u2014 it\u2019s confusing as hell.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think a lot of people have a friend or a brother or a co-worker that deals with mental health stuff, and they\u2019re probably pretty confused when that person gets depressed or gets manic or has an episode,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n The Emmy nominee said he\u2019s \u201cashamed\u201d of himself for exhibiting \u201cerratic behavior\u201d due to his mental health struggles. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not something I choose, and I wouldn\u2019t wish it on my worst enemy,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n Brown (seen above with Harbour in \u201cStranger Things\u201d) accused Harbour of harrassing and bullying her when they worked together, according to the November 2025 Daily Mail story. \u00a9Netflix\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/p>\n However, the actors (seen above in the show) shut down the feud rumors when they put on a united front at the \u201cStranger Things 5\u201d premiere in November. \u00a9Netflix\/Courtesy Everett Collection \/ Everett Collection<\/p>\n The 2025 report claimed Brown accused Harbour of harassing and bullying her on the set of the show in a formal complaint.<\/p>\n Harbour reportedly became the target of an internal investigation that \u201cwent on for months,\u201d insiders claimed at the time.<\/p>\n But Harbour and Brown hit back at feud rumors at the series\u2019 Season 5 premiere on Nov. 6, affectionately\u00a0posing for photos<\/a>\u00a0together on the red carpet.\u00a0<\/p>\n
