{"id":494409,"date":"2026-06-11T14:34:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T14:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/494409\/"},"modified":"2026-06-11T14:34:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T14:34:09","slug":"picos-next-flagship-xr-headset-reportedly-leaks-showing-some-very-familiar-design","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/494409\/","title":{"rendered":"Pico&#8217;s Next Flagship XR Headset Reportedly Leaks, Showing Some Very Familiar Design"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to video discovered in Pico\u2019s public SDK, it appears the company\u2019s next flagship headset has just been leaked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trusted data miner and serial leaker <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Lunayian\/status\/2064994401152020931\" rel=\"nofollow\">Luna<\/a> was sent what appears to be a number of tutorial videos for Project Swan, which were buried in Pico\u2019s public SDK.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luna, who also leaked multiple devices in the past including <a href=\"https:\/\/roadtovr.com\/meta-leak-smart-glasses-display-celeste\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Meta Ray-Ban Display<\/a>, additionally confirmed the videos seen below are indeed authentic.  <\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">PICO Project Swan<\/p>\n<p>I was sent these by a source claiming it is in the public SDK, and I was able to independently verify that is indeed the case (you can too) <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/wAVa56OY1T\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/wAVa56OY1T<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Luna (@Lunayian) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Lunayian\/status\/2064994401152020931?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">June 11, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What it reveals: a headset very much inspired by Apple Vision Pro and Samsung Galaxy XR, as it appears to include a separate battery unit and woven headstrap \u00e0 la Vision Pro, and a body similar to Galaxy XR.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"464\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/apple-vision-pro-solo-knit-band-edited.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-227779\"  \/>Vision Pro Solo Knit Band | Courtesy Apple<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this week Qualcomm seemingly teased its <a href=\"https:\/\/roadtovr.com\/qualcomm-next-gen-snapdragon-xr-pico-swan\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">next-gen Snapdragon XR chipset <\/a>targeted at standalone headsets, something the company says we\u2019ll learn more about \u201csoon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notably, Pico said back in March that Project Swan will contain a co-processor that combines custom XR silicon and a separate flagship SoC with \u201cmore than 2\u00d7 CPU and GPU performance vs XR2 Gen 2,\u201d something the company says will launch globally in late 2026. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While possibly a coincidence, the timing does raise an eyebrow at whether Pico will be the first to include Qualcomm\u2019s next-gen Snapdragon XR chip.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That said, we\u2019re still waiting to hear a lot more about Project Swan, including its pricing, official naming scheme and (not to mention) full spec sheet. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So far, Pico has revealed it will weight in at 270g (presumably just the headset and not battery) and include microOLED panels with 4,000 pixels per inch (PPI).
