\n\tMr. & Mrs. Smith is expanding its circle of operatives for season two.<\/p>\n
\n\tLevon Hawke (Blink Twice, Marty Supreme) has joined the cast of the Prime Video<\/a> series, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Sources say he\u2019ll be playing Mr. Smith \u2014\u00a0or rather, one of the Mr. Smiths, as the show will feature several characters using the pseudonym in the coming season. The show is in production in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n \n\tHawke joins a cast that also include Mark Eydelshteyn<\/a>, Talia Ryder<\/a>, Francesca Scorsese and Matt Rogers. Details about how the various Smiths and other characters will come together are being kept under wraps.<\/p>\n \n\tAnna Ouyang Moench is the showrunner for season two of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. She joined the show<\/a> in January, taking over for co-creator and season one showrunner Francesca Sloane. Moench\u2019s hiring came after co-studios Amazon MGM and New Regency hit pause on the show<\/a> last fall, coinciding with Sloane signing an overall deal at HBO.<\/p>\n \n\tMoench is executive producing season two with season one stars Donald Glover (who also co-created the series) and Maya Erskine, Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, Stephen Glover, Anthony Katagas and Fam Udeorji. Donald Glover is also directing a few episodes in season two. <\/p>\n \n\tHawke\u2019s acting credits Apple TV\u2019s 2023 series The Crowded Room and feature film The Thicket. He\u2019ll next be seen in Focus Features\u2019 Girls Like Girls, which is set for a June 19 release, and recently wrapped filming on A24\u2019s Peaked.
