Emmerdale star Danny Miller has commented on his image transformation in a post, sharing that he now feels “the best Danny” he could be. The soap star, knowing for playing Aaron Dingle in the Yorkshire-set soap, has taken to Facebook to share an update after first opening up on his fitness journey earlier this year.<\/p>\n

In a post shared to the social media platform, the actor published a side-by-side of two different selfies, admitting feeling “rundown and tired” in the one on the left.<\/p>\n

“It’s not until you see old pictures that you realise how much you’ve changed,” he wrote in the post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Looking at the photo on the left, I remember feeling rundown, tired and constantly putting myself at the bottom of the priority list.<\/p>\n

“Like a lot of parents, I was so busy trying to be everything for everyone else that I forgot to look after myself.<\/p>\n

“To be the best husband I can be. To be the best dad I can be. I first needed to be the best Danny I could be.<\/p>\n

“The photo on the right isn’t about being perfect. It’s about feeling healthier, happier and having more energy for the people who matter most.<\/p>\n

“Still a work in progress, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.”<\/p>\n

Miller has previously opened up on his health and fitness journey, celebrating a milestone in May<\/a>. At the time, the star uploaded an Instagram video<\/a> celebrating 365 days of being sober, explaining why he did it and what it feels like to no longer drink alcohol.<\/p>\n

“Hi, I’m Danny, I’m 35 and today marks one year of sobriety,” he said. <\/p>\n

“One year since I last had a drink. One year of reinventing myself for my family. Trying to better myself for my wife, for my family.”<\/p>\n

“It’s an emotional day for me because I never, ever in a million years believe this was achievable, genuinely.<\/p>\n

“I knew I had an issue with it, I fell down a rabbit hole. Steph has been an absolute rock throughout it, despite me itching for a drink every now and then.”<\/p>\n

Miller explained he made the decision to show his children the “best version” of himself, rather than not being present due to his hangovers. <\/p>\n

The actor has been married to Steph Miller since 2022 and they share three kids together.<\/p>\n

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX<\/a>.<\/p>\n
