The upcoming horror comedy film \u201cBest Friends Forever\u201d has added some fresh blood to its cast.<\/p>\n
The new names include Aristotle Athari (\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d), Ally Maki (\u201cToy Story 4\u201d), Zac Oyama (\u201cGame Changer\u201d), influencer\u00a0Lynley Eilers and \u201cDead Meat\u201d hosts James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca.<\/p>\n
These actors join a previously announced cast which includes Kimia Behpoornia (\u201cAbbott Elementary\u201d),\u00a0Bobby Moynihan (\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d), Eliza Bennett (\u201cDynasty\u201d), Catherine Corcoran (\u201cTerrifier\u201d), Jessie Ennis (\u201cMythic Quest\u201d), Aparna Nancherla (\u201cThe Great North\u201d), Esther Povitsky (\u201cDrugstone June\u201d) and Rekha Shankar (\u201cGame Changer\u201d).<\/p>\n
Per the film\u2019s official logline, \u201cThe horror comedy follows the bachelorette party reunion of five high
school friends as they become exposed to toxic positivity-turned-supernatural and begin to turn against each other. The film explores the things we don\u2019t say and all the things we don\u2019t show, as women, to our friends.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amy Taylor and Liz Manashil wrote the \u201cBest Friends Forever\u201d script, which is directed by Manashil (\u201cBread and Butter\u201d). Laura Reich and Pardis Sullins produced the film, which was line produced by Elena Weinberg and executive produced by Catherine Corcoran, Tiffany L. Gray, Katie Leary, Charlie and Will Pigott, and Debra Trevi\u00f1o. The film was associate produced by Ted Geoghegan (\u201cWe Are Still Here\u201d), Emily Hagins (\u201cMy Sucky Teen Romance\u201d), Carter Smith (\u201cThe Ruins\u201d) and the Pierce Brothers (\u201cThe Wretched\u201d). Cara Chute Rosenbaum was the casting director on the film.<\/p>\n
The film was recently invited to take part in\u00a0Tribeca\u2019s Creator Market and its Works In Progress program, where 20 minutes of the film were screened.<\/p>\n
