\n\tTom Cruise<\/a> had an all-star Steven Spielberg reunion to support the director\u2019s new alien thriller, \u201cDisclosure Day<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe was joined by his \u201cMinority Report\u201d co-star Colin Farrell<\/a> and \u201cWar of the Worlds\u201d daughter Dakota Fanning<\/a> for a screening of \u201cDisclosure Day,\u201d which opens in theaters Friday.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNothing better than a summer Spielberg movie night in a packed theater with friends!\u201d Cruise wrote on social media. \u201cSteven thank you for all of the hours of joy that you have given us in the cinema!! It has been a great honor and pleasure to have worked with you and to call you my friend. Congratulations to my dear friend Emily and the entire group of artists that created this movie. \n\tCruise also brought along a popcorn bucket in the shape of Spielberg\u2019s head wearing with a plastic \u201cDisclosure Day\u201d cap. The movie\u2019s official popcorn bucket<\/a> is a 16-inch tall stag, with a cardinal sitting atop an antler, so it seems like Cruise\u2019s Spielberg head may be a custom popcorn receptacle.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis fall, Cruise is starring in \u201cDigger,\u201d a satirical comedy directed by Alejandro Gonz\u00e1lez I\u00f1\u00e1rritu. \u201cDigger\u201d will be Cruise\u2019s first non-franchise movie since 2017\u2019s \u201cAmerican Made\u201d \u2014 since then, he made three \u201cMission: Impossible\u201d adventures and \u201cTop Gun: Maverick.\u201d Cruise is known for making surprise appearances at his own movie premieres or to support his co-stars. Last year, he popped up at a \u201cRunning Man\u201d screening in honor of of his fellow \u201cMaverick\u201d pilot Glen Powell\u2019s lead role.<\/p>\n
